Unlike many agencies providing in-home care services, Helping Hands does not try to be all things and do all things for all people. Nor do we base our service offerings and agreements upon the commonly held business premise of a primary need to achieve outstanding financial goals.
Instead, Helping Hands has chosen to follow a different path, marching to the beat of a different drummer. First, we have elected to limit the services we provide to select clientele in particular situations with certain needs, to strive for excellence in the provision of those services.
Secondly, we have chosen, as our primary mission and service goal, to always place service to our clients’ best interests above all others. This includes serving our own best financial interests, whenever the two goals would appear to be in competition.
What this means, in short, is that we will not accept every possibility for business that comes our way, but that the cases we do accept can expect nothing but the best in the services we provide.
In addition, we are one of few agencies in Yavapai County who use the State of Arizona's Fundamentals of Caregiving Curriculum including Aging and Physical Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities Module.
Some agencies train their staff for a half a day and send them to your home. Our caregivers must pass the curriculum and skills check offs from the State of Arizona before we will hire them to work at our agency.
