A number of private long term care insurance policies cover services provided by Helping Hands. Generally, such coverage requires a prescription by a doctor and/or an assessment of need performed by a trained professional.
When insurance coverage is available and authorized, Helping Hands will accept assignment of benefits, bill the insurance company directly for services rendered, and collect payment from them.
Clients are, of course, financially responsible for all services not covered by the insurance company.
