HABILITATION
Key Benefits
- In conjunction with help and assistance
provided these clients by parents, family members, special education
teachers, therapists, and others, this service aids in better enabling
individuals to do more things for themselves, increasing their chances for
enjoying more independent, productive and rewarding lives.
- Where desirable and feasible, this service
better enables some individuals to stay living at home with their families,
and their families to keep these individuals living with them, rather than
in group homes or institutions.
- Also where desirable and feasible, this service
better enables other individuals to live away from family homes, in
community based settings, in other than institutional settings, and to enjoy
more independent, productive and rewarding lives.
Capabilities
- Capability 1
- With a select staff of well trained and experienced caregivers we can
normally provide services as and when they are needed,
according to the client's needs, rather then according to
others' needs and convenience.
- Capability 2
- Under our Qualified Vendor Agreement with the
DES Division of Developmental Disablities, we are capable of providing a
wide-range of habilitation services, including a) Support Habilitation in
clients' homes; 2) Adult and Child Day Programs; 3) Independent Living
assistance; 4) Adult Developmental Home placements; and, 5) Group Home
placements.
