Our Services
DD Adult Day Program
Helping Hands DD Adult Day Program participants are typically 18+ years, often joining us after high school graduation. Participants enjoy friendships, music, movement, learning new skills, crafts, movie days, special events, and excursions most days of the week. We provide transportation to and from our DD adult day program in most cases.
Monthly calendars are sent home with members monthly for community outings, so members may choose which outing they would like to participate in. Our community partners are Plaza Bowl and Full Swing. Bowling is paid for by Helping Hands. We offer very flexible hours and are happy to go the extra step.
Habilitation
This service includes the provision of training and/or assistance in independent living skills or special developmental skills, orientation and mobility training, sensory-motor development, behavioral management, and supported employment.
Respite Care
Our team offers oversight and care. Respite care provides your loved one with temporary relief.
Attendant Care
Helping Hands In Home Care provides care to anyone requiring extra assistance at home. Whether it's meal preparation, homemaking, companionship, errands, or anything else, each of these services is customizable to your loved one's needs.
Arizona Long Term Care and DES Division of Developmental Disabilities sometimes pay a family member to care for their loved one under Attendant Care.
Personal Care
Whether your loved one needs help with bathing, grooming, toileting, or hygiene, we're here to help.
Light Housekeeping
Whether we're changing linens, helping with laundry, or cleaning the house, our caregivers leave things spotless.
Meal Preparation
We can assist with grocery shopping and meal prep and can even monitor your loved one's diet. Meal preparation services include cleanup, too!
Errands
Our caregivers can pick up prescriptions, gather mail, or take care of general shopping.
Companionship
Our caregivers provide companionship inside and outside of the home. Outings include movies and dinners. At-home activities include letter writing, reading, card games, conversations, and so much more.
Transportation
Transportation is made easier for your loved one as each of our caregivers can drive.
Overnight Care
We'll take the stress out of your loved one's evening. Our overnight caregivers stay up all night to ensure your loved one has assistance whenever something goes wrong. That way, you can rest easy.
Post-Hospitalization Care
We will help your loved one after surgery or hospital care through the services above.
Reminders
We'll coordinate care with medical agencies and private insurance companies.
